Our Staff
Cheryl Mock – Optician
Raised in Martinsburg, Cheryl is a 1999 graduate of Central High School. She attended Central Penn College and received her Associates degree in Applied Science. She is certified by the American Board of Opticianry as well as being a certified contact lens technician. She has a total of over 20 years of experience and is our glasses guru. She joined Huntingdon Vision Center in the spring of 2011.
Cheryl and her husband Jason now reside in Hollidaysburg with their two fur babies Rascal and Kip. In her free time she enjoys gardening, attending Central High School football games, and being on the lake in the summer.
Deb Gill – Front Desk and Insurance
Deb has been with Huntingdon Vision Center since 1995. Although she serves many purposes within the office, most of the time you can find her behind our front desk.
Deb is a 1978 graduate from Juniata Valley and lives in Spruce Creek. They have two children, Jason and Holly, and two grandsons, Hunter and Ethan. Deb is a big reader and enjoys time spent with her dog Bocephus.
Tammy McClain – Technician and Contact Lenses
Tammy grew up in Mapleton Depot and is a 1979 graduate of Mount Union High School. Tammy joined the Army Reserves in 1982 and her unit was mobilized to Desert Storm in 1991. She joined Huntingdon Vision Center in 2002. She handles contact lens orders and patient pretesting.
Tammy and her husband Terry live in Calvin. Tammy has three children, Tausha, Tyler, and Trey, and four grandsons, Wyatt,Hayden, Gilbert, and Gideon. She remains very active with veterans. She is a past commander of the VFW post 1754 (Huntingdon). Additionally, she is involved with boy scouts.
